Chipscare Services Limited, suppliers of office equipment, stationary and IT facilities management has donated three pieces of low reflect whiteboard and 100 pieces of refillable whiteboard markers to the Kumasi Polytechnic. The donation, according to the Managing Director of Chipscare Ltd, Mr Kwabena Nyarko, is valued at Gh?1,500.00 and it is intended to help in teaching and learning at the Polytechnic’s newly built classroom block.
At a short presentation ceremony, Mr. Nyarko said, K-Poly has, for several years, been a very loyal customer to the company and the donation was to convey the company’s gratitude to the institution.
Mr. Nyarko said, Chipscare Limited will continue to partner the Polytechnic as it seeks to place itself at a position that will engender personal and institutional growth and national development.
The Vice Rector of Kumasi Polytechnic, Mr Eric Brobbey, who received the donation on behalf of the Polytechnic, thanked the management of Chipscare Limited for the kind gesture and pledged to put the items to very good use. He said K-Poly will continue to do business with credible and reliable business entities such as Chipscare Limited, which has an enviable track record, to enable them growth.
“Chipscare is a credible and reliable company; that is why we will always do business with you because we know we will never be disappointed,” Mr. Brobbey said.
The Vice Rector said, like Oliver Twist, K-Poly will ask for similar gestures in future and according to him, the institution’s needs and wants are numerous. Mr. Brobbey said, the Polytechnic requires a number of equipment and facilities as it strives to provide first class tuition and training to Ghanaians. Present at the ceremony were the Registrar, Mr. R. Koranchie-Mensah, the Dean of Students, Mrs. Cynthia Osei and Mr. C. O. Antwi-Kusi, Assistant Registrar.
