Christian women urged to stop indecent dressing and behaviour

The Head Pastor of The Coming of Jesus Christ Prayer Fellowship, Evangelist Paul Boateng, has urged Christian women to shy away from indecent forms of dressing, saying that it does not glorify the temple of God.

He asked women who wear trousers and decorate their bodies with indecent make-ups to desist from the practice because it was against the principles of God.

Preaching the sermon at 37 in Accra, Evangelist Boateng urged leaders of the flock to expose women to the word of God to keep themselves as vessels of the Lord to his glory.

He said the wearing of trousers could expose women to diseases and even affect their womb as the free-flow of air into their bodies was mostly obstructed by the trousers.

Evangelist Boateng noted that wearing of trousers reduced the dignity and respect of women in society, adding that traditional culture also frowned on it.

The phenomenon, he noted, had gradually eroded the cultural values of Ghana, and called on the Ministry of Chieftaincy and Culture to act decisively to check the situation.

He said as women they must always be decent in their dressing to attract decent men into their lives as marital partners.

Evangelist Boateng asked other men of God to drum home the message of indecent dressing among women in contemporary Ghana to halt the trend.

The Pastor advised women to study the word of God in order to walk in His ordinances and glorify His name.
