Ho, Apr. 04,GNA-Reverend James Noble Tulasi, Resident Pastor of Jubilee Christian Centre, Ho, on Easter Sunday exhorted Christians in the country "to be doers of the word and not only the hearers ." He urged them to hold on to the values of Christianity with a view to leading a clean and blameless life which go beyond mere identification as Christians.
Rev. Tulasi was delivering an Easter message on Sunday to end a three-day Easter Convention of the Church.
He noted that many people were not interested in the values of Christianity; all they want is to be referred to as Christians and urged them to repent and allow Christianity to reflect in the lifestyles. Rev. Tulasi said this way crime and other forms of wickedness would ebb in the country giving way to peace, love, care and brotherliness. He said the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ should unite all Christians just as Jesus reconciled them back to God through His sufferings and resurrection.
Rev. Tulasi urged them to be each others keeper and peaceful in all dealings.
He urged Christians to be hard-working at their work places and desist from all kinds of ungodly attitudes that would not help the development of the nation.
The church which was overcrowded with congregants dressed all white, celebrated the resurrection of Jesus Christ and later prayed for the President and the nation.
