Ntribuoho (Ash), Nov 22, GNA- The Most Reverend Joseph Osei-Bonsu, Catholic Bishop of Mampong-Konongo diocese, has called on Christians to desist from bad behaviours and lead lives worthy of emulation.
He said it was only through this that they could present themselves as true Christians in their communities.
Bishop Osei-Bonsu was delivering a sermon at Ntribuoho as part of his three-day pastoral visit to the Buoho Saint Mary's Sanctuary in the Kwabre District on Saturday.
He asked Christians to pray for forgiveness do good at all times and called for peace, unity and love among Christians and non-Christians. Rev Father Amoakohene-Tawiah of the Sanctuary asked Christians not to allow political differences to divide them.
He said it is bad for a Christian to insult a political or spiritual leader, explaining that a Christian can criticise or speak against the acts of a leader but not to cast insinuations.
The parish priest said there was the need for Christians to exhibit unblemished characters and behaviours that will bring them closer to God. GNA
