Apostle Samuel Vidzro-Kaboo, General Overseer of the City of Glory International and Prayer Ministry, has underscored the need for the Easter season to be used for reconciliation and renewing of stale relationships.
He said it was when people forgave one another and work together in unity that the country could progress.
Apostle Vidzro-Kaboo was speaking at the end of this year’s Easter Convention of the church at Achimota in Accra on Sunday.
He said the world today must accept the message of reconciliation between God and humans and also between one human being and another.
The General Overseer urged the public to stay away from negative attitude and tendencies that were inimical to national development.
He called on Ghanaians to use the celebration to rise above all negative or harmful tendencies and see themselves as members of one nation.
Apostle Vidzro-Kaboo also urged Ghanaians to eschew all ethnocentric tendencies, actions and statements that would not bring peace to the country.
He said the first gift of the risen Christ to His disciples was peace and therefore urged Ghanaians to pray for and work towards the realisation of peace in all sectors of their lives.
Apostle Vidzro-Kaboo urged politicians to be decorous and also base their speeches on issues that would promote peace and unity.
He appealed to drivers to desist from driving under the influence of alcohol in order to save life and property.
Apostle Vidzro-Kaboo said the church as part of its social responsibility, had been able to provide the community with streetlights at the cost of GHC4,000.00 and also offered free medical screening.
