Easter is a time of springtime festivals. In Christian countries Easter is celebrated as the religious holiday commemorating the resurrection of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. COP Finland joined millions of the faith worldwide to mark Easter, in celebrating the death and the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

(COP) Finland, is a branch of the church of Pentecost worldwide with the Headquarters in Accra Ghana, that was founded in the beginnings of 1937 by an Irish born, Rev James McKeown, who was sent to the then Gold Coast by the Bradford Apostolic Church of the United Kingdom in response to a call by the Apostolic Faith Church of the Gold Coast for missionary assistance.

The COP started in Finland as a small prayer group in 2001 and now with more than 40 active members under the leadership of Presiding Elder Alex Asiedu. The COP is a vibrant home for people of all race and cultural background.

COP Finland had its first Easter Convention under the THEME ? THE BLOOD OF JESUS? (Heb.9: 12)

The 3-day convention which started at 4pm on Good Friday the 14th of April was chaired by Elder. Alex Asiedu. The Guest speaker was Pastor Stephen Mensah from Ghana. His preaching focused on the redemption power of Jesus Christ and on knowing the will of God. On each of the days, Pastor Stephen Mensah preached the Word of God and ushered the church into powerful time of Prayer where the presence of God was greatly felt.

Glory be to God for His visitation during the convention. We also thank God For all our other Christians brothers and sisters who joined us purposely to Celebrate the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ Amen.
