Church of Theocracy celebrates Feast of Tabernacle

Pokuase (G/A), Sep. 17, GNA-Mr Jake Obetsebi-Lamptey, former Minister for Tourism and Diasporan Relations, has called on Ghanaians to champion the cause of unity and peace for the development of the nation. He explained that unity and peace played a very important role in the socio-economic development of every nation and that without these, there would be no development.

Mr Obetsebi-Lamptey made the call at the celebration of this year's Feast of the Tabernacle at Pokuase near Amasaman in the Greater Accra Region on Tuesday.

The feast, celebrated by the Seventh Day Church of Theocracy, was under the theme; "Time for religion and political moral kingdom". Mr Obetsebi-Lamptey advised political parties to campaign in a peaceful manner devoid of insults and back-biting for peaceful elections.

He also asked the electorate to return the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to power to enable it to continue the country's developmental programmes.

The former Minister also asked political parties to accept the results of the December polls in good faith. Apostle Kadmier Emmanuel Howard Agbalanyoh, Leader and Founder of the Seventh Day Church of Theocracy called on Christians to open a new chapter by refraining from acts which hindered national development. He called on political parties to spread the message of combating HIV/AIDS when they mounted platforms
