‘City of Shiloh’ to give hope to women – Rev Mrs Rita Korankye Ankrah

President of Royal Ladies, Women’s wing of the Royal House Chapel, Rev. Mrs Rita Sam Krorankye Ankrah, has assured women that the yet to be constructed ‘City of Shiloh’ project will give hope to women suffering from bad marriages, orphans, ex-convicts and those who need help to live a befitting life in the society.

According to her, ‘City of Shiloh’ will serve as a prayer ground for women and also serve as an orphanage homes for the homeless.

Mrs Korankye Ankrah made this known when she dedicated ‘City of Shiloh’, a land acquired by the Women’s Ministry of the Royal House Chapel.

She said, “City of Shiloh will allow women have an encounter with the Lord; present all their petition before him and trust that God will listen to their prayer, answer and make them great in the society.”

“Those who want to learn a trade, those suffering and having problems in marriages and don’t know where their life will end, when they come here (City of Shiloh) the almighty God will deliver them’” she added.

The wife of the Apostle General, Rev Sam Korankye Ankrah noted that some women suffer from bad marriages, acid attacks and sometimes get killed by their husbands just because they don’t have anywhere to go.

“City of Shiloh is here for all Ghanaian women who have lost hope in the society and think that there is nowhere to run to,” she reiterated.

“City of Shiloh by the Royal Ladies is to help women stand on their feet, help the poor and needy by paying their fees, equip the women with some skills so that they can be able to work and cater for themselves,” she said.

Mrs Korankye Ankrah further called for support from other churches as well as some benevolent Ghanaians to come and support a worthy course for “we believe when a woman is empowered, she will also train others to be empowered as well.”

‘City of Shiloh’ will be opened for seminars, conferences, camp meetings and business meeting when completed. It will have about 1000 dormitories, 40 toilets, and bathrooms, a canteen, an auditorium for seminars and camp meetings as well as training centers to train women in Vocational and life skills ‘City of Shiloh’ is located at Agortor-Tsopoli on the Tema-Ada highway in the Shai Osudoku District of the Greater Accra Region.

The dedication was done by the Head Pastor of Royal House Chapel, Rev Sam Korankye Ankrah.
