Class Media Group (CMG), the parent company of Class 91.3fm and Accra 100.5 fm, on Mothers’ Day, presented baby items to mothers of new-born babies in some selected hospitals in Accra.

The items, which included diapers, napkins, Yazz products, babies beds and pillow, detergents, and bathing bowls, were donated to the mothers at the Maternity Wards of the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital, 37 Military Hospital, LEKMA Hospital and the Mamobi General Hospital.

The mothers were also presented with GHc 100 vouchers each, which they can cash out at the Women’s World Banking, in addition to coupons for free hair dressing at Saloon Services worth GH¢ 100.

The programme was sponsored by Amalena Children’s Haven, Yazz Washing Powder Ghana, Saloon Services, Women’s World Banking and Tasty Tom Tomato Paste.

Presenting the items to the mothers at the Korle-Bu Maternity Ward, Nana Apeanti, the Manager of Accra FM, said the programme was a sign of their love to appreciate mother’s role in the society.

He said the programme also formed part of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility to share with the society what the company had achieved, adding that hopefully this would be repeated in the coming years.

Mrs Anita Osei Manu, the Director of Amalena Children’s Haven, said Amalena, being a baby shop, decided to partner with the Class Media Group to show love to all mothers who gave birth on May 8.

Mrs Gladys Addo, the Principal Nursing Officer, Korle-Bu Maternity Ward, expressed gratitude to the company and their sponsors for the kind gesture.
