The replacement for the resigned Chief Executive Officer of the Coastal Development Authority, Samuel Atta Mensah has been named.

President Akufo-Addo today appointed Jerry Ahmed Shaib as the CEO of the Authority in line with Section 3(1) of the Coastal Development Authority Act, 2017 (Act 961).

A letter signed by the Secretary to the President, Nana Asante Bediatuo said the appointment will however require confirmation from the governing Board of the Authority in consultation with the Public Services Commission.

Mr. Shaib, is a lawyer by profession was Deputy to Sammens at the Coastal Development Authority until his resignation.
