.... in the trade in Techiman
A commercial sex worker has confirmed to Classic news that the economic crunch that has befallen the country is seriously having an effect on their sex trade in the Techiman Municipality.
Nana Yaa Achiaa affectionately called 'Boogie down' by her friends told Classic FM Kofi Doe Lawson that since the current President, His Excellency John Evans Atta Mills swore the oath of allegiance the business to her has gone down drastically.
She narrated how she used to get about 15 cedis a night after indulging in the sex trade but business has not been good this time adding that she is even planning to put a stop to the business to go into another sector to make her ends meet.
She told the newsman how her regular pastor customer who is the leader and founder of a known church in the Techiman Municipality who usually enjoys her stuff had a quarrel with her a forth night ago because the man of God declined to pay the new 5 cedis after the act.
Nana Yaa continued that the economic crunch is now driving away her customers therefore the need for her to find solace at other money making avenues.
Boogie down called on the authorities to provide more jobs in the Techiman Municipality so that the beautiful young women like her who are into the commercial sex thing could find jobs to replace what she calls the hectic and romantic job on earth.
She continued that since her 7 years experience in the commercial sex trade in Accra, Kumasi, and Techiman nothing of this nature has occurred to her adding that the time has come for people to respect them calling on the government to give them the license to operate freely because they render services to the good people of Ghana.
She also narrated how she serviced a well known Politician in Ghana at a Hotel in Wenchi when he visited the area on a campaign tour meaning their services are seriously needed.
She told Kofi Doe Lawson that if their welfare is not protected by authorities, very soon she will lead a naked demonstration backed by her collegues in the regional capital Sunyani since the laws of the country permits freedom of association.
