Confusion At Castle

…As to how Betty, Amidu should go!

Information reaching the Front Page newspaper from the Castle, the seat of government indicates that there has been an unrest situation since Mr. Martin Amidu, the Attorney General dropped hints of gargantuan crime against the good people of Ghana by certain elements with ministerial appointment in the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) government.

The government’s senior legal adviser on last week after many publications by his own pro-party newspapers against him released statement that some of his colleague ministers are after him for not taken bold decision against the former government officials in the Kufuor-led New Patriotic Party (NPP) adminstration.
The statement which many in the NDC though has fuelled the public bashings on the government, according to source has made the Prof. Mills to asked Mr. Martin Amidu, the Attorney General to put in resignation letter to vacate his post.
Deep throat source at the Castle says that since the Martin Amidu made that statement, there has not been a single day that top NDC activists and Castle gurus will not go into a meeting to discuss what step to take to defend the government, especially when the country is preparing for electioneering campaign.
According to our source, what is boggling the President mind is whether to fire Mrs. Betty Mould Iddrisu or not since she is fingered in the famous Woyome gate scandal and to Ghanaians, she played lead role in paying a whooping GH¢58 million to Mr. Alfred Agbesi Woyome.
It continued that because of her husband Alhaji Mohammed Idrrisu, who is very influential in the party and government and now serves as Member of Council of State, Prof. Mills is finding it too difficult to ask the Education Minister and former Attorney General whose tenure of office judgment was given in favour of Mr. Alfred Woyome when she refused to put in defence for the State.
Front Page can confidently say based on our closed source in the ruling government that, some NDC activists would have loved Prof. Mills to show Mrs. Mould-Iddrisu the exit even before EOCO started its investigation in to the Woyomegate scandal when the Minority NPP in Parliament held their first press conference calling for her head.
The allegation of Prof. Atta Mills asking Mr. Martin Amidu to write his own resignation, who some quarters says has a strong relationship with the Vice President, should have also affect Mrs. Mould-Iddrisu but for her also strong allies with top “guys” like P.V. Obeng, and other Achimota Old students (MOTOWN gurus) within the Council of State and some powerful Ashanti heads she was left out.

Reports monitored indicates that instead of Prof. Mill asking Mrs. Mould-Iddrisu to do same as Mr. Martin Amidu, which they see it as shameful act, she is penciled for reshuffle in the near coming days.
