Member of Parliament for Tema East, Daniel Nii Kwartei Titus-Glover has called on the contractors of the Tema Manhean sports complex to engage youth in the Tema East constituency during the construction of the facility.
According to him, engaging the youth will equip them with the needed skills which will be essential to them for prospective job opportunities in the area of construction.
On Tuesday 31st July 2019 the Member of Parliament with the Tema Matse, Nii Adjei Kraku II cut the sod for the construction of a 1000 capacity multipurpose stadium which was initiated by the Tema Traditional Council. The facility is expected to be completed by the end of December as it is funded by the Ghana ports and Harbour Authority.
At the event, the MP used the opportunity to inform his constituents about the progress of developmental projects in the constituency which included the construction of the Bankuman roads, National Health Insurance Office in Tema Manhean, Girls Dormitory at Manhean Secondary Technical School, etc
Hon, Titus-Glover appealed to Corporate Tema to emulate the gesture from GPHA in order to enhance infrastructural development in Tema.
He also called on constituents to keep supporting him and the government of His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo.
Present at the function were the Members of Parliament for Ayawaso Central and Ledzokuku constituencies as well as security service commanders in Tema, Members of the Traditional Council, Executives and Members of the Tema East NPP, the clergy and a section of the general public.
