Contractors Meet In Cape Coast

The President of the Steering Committee of the Association of Civil Engineers and Building Contractors Mr.. P.T. Kupualer has said his administration will pursue a policy of probity and accountability for the benefit of the members. Mr.. Kupualer therefore asked the members who have deposited monies with the association for the supply of equipment to exercise patience because their monies are in safe hands. Addressing a meeting with the members of the Central regional branch of the association at the Cape Coast Hotel Ltd, at Cape Coast, Mr.. Kupualer announced plans towards the establishment of regional development centres to supply the equipment needs of the members and asked the regional branch to acquire land for the project. Mr. Kupualer also disclosed that the association will as from next year sponsor a member each from the regional branches for a three month technical course in South Africa. He expressed grave concern about the inactivity of the regional branch and charged the members to revive it. The regional chairman of the association Mr.. Joe Debrah gave the assurance of ensuring the rejuvenation of the association and appealed to the members to pay their dues promptly to promote its activities and programmes. End
