Rev. DSP Martin Padi, Chaplain for Kumasi Central Prisons, has sternly cautioned men to be extra circumspect when they have the urge for sex so that they will not make a mistake of having sex with teenagers and find themselves in prison in the process.
He revealed pathetically that most of the inmates at the Kumasi Central Prison suffered their fate because they could not control their libido and ended up having sex with teenagers, which is against the law.
Rev. DSP Padi gave the depressing statistics when Royal Winners Micro Finance Company Limited presented assorted items and cash to support the inmates of the Kumasi Central Prison over the weekend.
The prisons chaplain revealed also that most of the inmates currently languishing in the prison, raped some innocent women and teenage girls when they had the urge for sex.
Among the items that Royal Winners Micro Finance Company Limited officials led by its CEO, Nana Derric Ampomasu, presented to the prisoners were bags of rice, sugar, cooking oil, assortment of soaps and an undisclosed amount of money.
Rev. DSP Padi showered praises on the donors for the commendable gesture, passionately appealing to other well-endowed institutions and individuals in the country to assist the prisoners, whom he disclosed, were facing several challenges.
