Some Ghanaians on social media are questioning the absence of some notable clergymen at the Breakfast Prayer Meeting organized at the Jubilee House this morning.
The prayer meeting hosted by President Akufo-Addo forms part of government’s efforts to battle the deadly coronavirus.
The list of pastors present included Archbishop Nicholas Duncan Williams, Rev Sam Korankye Ankrah and Bishop Charles Agyin-Asare.
The likes of Bishop (Angel) Daniel Obinim, Rev Ebenezer Adarkwah Yiadom and the Founder and Leader of Anointed Palace Chapel, Rev Obofuor were however missing.
Taking to social media, some tweeps could not fathom how these pastors who have over the years touted their spiritual prowess to heal various forms of diseases were not invited to the meeting.
President Akufo-Addo speaking at the meeting this morning expressed hope that Ghana will be healed from the deadly COVID-19 virus through prayer.
While the president was hosting the prayer meeting, Information Minister Kojo Oppong Nkrumah in a tweet announced that Ghana had recorded two more cases of the virus bringing the total number in the country to 9.

A prayer without Obofour, obinim & Opambour, is that one too prayer. All those pastors called at the Jubilee house have one thing in common. They all preach in English. This means that, if you preach in Twi in Ghana, You dont belong. The funny part is majority speak twi in Ghana

All the cases of covid19 in Ghana are imported from affected countries so why are the authorities finding it difficult to ban/suspend flight from affected countries whether with 200 cases or less
