Coronavirus: Former NDC secretary Kutor donates to health facilities in Anlo

A former Constituency Deputy Secretary of the National Democratic Congress(NDC) Mr. Wonder Victor Kutor has donated items to some health centers in the Anlo District of the Volta region.

The items are veronica buckets, tissue papers, hand sanitizers, hand gloves, boxes of liquid soaps and an unspecified amount of nose masks.

These items which comes in the wake of the Coronavirus outbreak is his contribution towards the fight against the disease with Volta Region recording nine confirmed cases.

Mr.Kutor who presented the items yesterday at a short ceremony indicated that the fight against the disease is everyone’s call in view of the sophisticated mode of transmission and infection.

The beneficiary health centers were the Anloga health center, the Tegbi Clinic and selected Community Based Health Planning and Services (CHPS) compound.

Receiving the items at the Tegbi Clinic , the Health Physician ,Mr Kennedy Ekuanor thanked Mr. Kutor for his kind gesture,saying all hands are needed on deck in the fight against the Coronavirus pandemic.

The items,he noted could not have come at a better time when measures are being stepped up to ensure that the precautionary measures and all the protocols needed to prevent the spread of the virus are adhered to.

He later took Mr Kutor who was accompanied by the Vice-Chairman of Anlo Constituency and some branch executives of the National Democratic Congress round the facility to appreciate its current state.
