Witnessing pallbearers exhibit some wild dance moves with a coffin containing the corpse while some family members and sympathizers groan over the loss of their relative has become a trend in the country.

Families are increasingly paying for the services of pallbearers to send their loved ones off in style. Normally done during recession, these pallbearers are seen with the casket on their shoulders executing a well-rehearsed and captivating choreography.

Sadly, the woes of some mourners were worsened when the corpse fell out during the dance. In a video which has surfaced online, the pallbearers lost control when they decided to turn around as they danced to SP Kofi Sarpong’s ‘African Borborbo’.

Shocked by the development, some of the pallbearers moved away from the corpse while one sat on the floor wailing.

A voice believed to be a lady’s was then heard expressing sorrow; “Oh, uncle! Uncle!”

It is unclear where exactly the incident happened.
