Ajumako (C/R), May 9, GNA - The Ajumako District Magistrate Court presided over by Mr Kwesi Boakye Enimil on Thursday remanded Kojo Asomanyin, 27, unemployed in prison custody to reappear on May 12, this year. Asomanyin who pleaded guilty on four counts of unlawful entry, assault, causing damage to properties valued GH¢970 and threat of life with a knife. Facts, as delivered by Detective Inspector Ernest Darkwah, area that on May 2, at about 2100 hours at Breman Asikuma, the accused went to his former girl friend's house but met her absence. The accused then hid himself in the dark until the complainant, Doris Amoaniwah came back home and as she entered her room, the accused forcibly entered the room, locked the door and removed the key. Struggle ensued between the two however, the landlord who happened to be around immediately called for police intervention. Upon interrogation, the police said, the accused confessed having caused the offence and promised to pay for the cost of the damaged properties including ladies sandals, bags and carpet among others. 06 May 11.
