Kwaku Amoah pleaded guilty to the charge and will re-appear on December 22 whilst one Kwadwo Amoah, 17, an accomplice, who was also charged with the same offence, was granted bail in the sum of 10 million cedis with a surety to justify.

He also pleaded guilty and will also reappear on December 22. Police Chief Inspector A.K. Danquah told the court, presided over by Mr Noble Nkrumah, that on December 13, the two accused persons took advantage of the absence of five students of the Wesley College in Kumasi robbed them of a number of items valued at 3.5 million cedis from their room.

He said after stealing the items which include four gas cylinders, three gas stoves, one mobile phone and two sauce pans, the accused hid them in a nearby bush with the intent to convey them to Kumasi later for sale.
