DNL inaugurates district office

Hohoe (VR),June 6, GNA- The Department of National Lotteries (DNL) has Commissioned the Hohoe district office to give a wider choice and more value as well as bring the game closer to serve the Hohoe District and its environs.

This was part of the Department's expansion programme to maximize revenue towards the development of the nation, which would also create more jobs for the people in the area, Mr George Gyamfi-Osew, Marketing Director of DNL said.

Speaking at the commissioning of the Hohoe District Office, Mr. Gyamfi-Osew said the Department has also introduced the "Daily Draw" that would bring prosperity to the district throughout the week. He promised that the Department would deliver their best services in the interest of the community and therefore urged the community to give its maximum support to DNL.

Mr. Kojo Andah, Director of DNL, in a speech read on his behalf by Mr George Addo Yobo, Operations Director, said the Department had pursued a vigorous revenue campaign and carried out extensive research into the operation and revenue potential of Hohoe as a district. Mr. Andah said, they had no doubt that the revenue potential of the district was so enormous that it can not wait longer to harness all the revenue resources available. He said in choosing Hohoe as a DNL district office, they were guided not only by its geographical and strategic location but job opportunities and attendant social benefits to the people within the District.

Mr Andah noted that the district office would not only serve people within the Hohoe district but communities as far as Kete-Krachi, Kpasa, Dambai and communities around Kpando-Golokuati.

According to him, anybody about 18 years, who wants to be registered as an accredited DNL lotto receiver can walk into their district office without hesitation and patrons of the Game residing in Hohoe can receive their winning prizes immediately from the district office without travelling to Ho for payment.

Mr. Andah stressed that he had no doubt that the Hohoe District had come to stay and urged members within the enclave to support them in the promotion as a show-case.
