Koforidua, Dec. 10 GNA - Daasebre Professor Oti Boateng, President of the Eastern Regional House of Chiefs, has appealed to politicians to conduct decent campaigns and avoid politics of insults as the 2012 elections draws closer.
He said since Ghana was seen as one of the few oases of peace and stability on the African continent, "we must do whatever is in our cable-tow to maintain this admirable accolade".
Daasebre Oti Boateng, who is also the Omanhene of the New Juaben Traditional Area, was addressing the Regional House of Chiefs end-of-year annual general meeting in Koforidua on Friday.
