Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams has disclosed his best friend in ministry is Bishop Dag Heward -Mills, founder of the Lighthouse Chapel International.

According to the General Overseer of the Action Chapel International Ministry, Bishop Heward-Mills is his son in ministry.

During the 2014 Iron Sharpeneth Iron Conference organised by the Lighthosue Chapel, Duncan-Williams anointed Bishop Heward-Mills.

Bishop Heward-Mills said in a blog post that: “I feel so favoured to have one of the most influential pastors in Africa anoint me. What an honour!”

Archbishop Duncan-Williams, speaking to Bola Ray on Accra-based Starr FM on Wednesday, 23 August 2017 said Bishop Heward-Mills was his favourite.

“My best friend in ministry is Bishop Dag Heward-Mills. We have a good relationship and next to him we have people like Eastwood Anaba, Ampiah Kwofie,” he stated.

He added that: “It’s a good feeling to see my sons in Ministry doing well because sons are supposed to do better than their fathers. If you look at Moses and you look at Joshua, the Bible said Joshua had wisdom because Moses had laid hands upon him and Joshua did what Moses couldn’t do. Moses didn’t get in the promise land, Joshua did. Moses didn’t divide the land and he didn’t give the inheritance of the children of Israel to them, Joshua did.

“Now you look at Elijah and Elisha. Elijah did seven miracles, Elisha did 14 miracles but on the mount of transfiguration, it was not Joshua and Elisha, it was Moses and Elijah, the fathers. So works and greatness does not make you a father but a true father must make sure his sons succeed.”
