Damongo Nurses training college students cry for water

The Damango Nurses training college have been encountering problems and one of them is the water crisis they go through on campus.

This Water crisis has forced them to bath once a day on their campus.

The president of the Student Representative Council Kofi Clement said ‘’ How can we as nurses tell our patients to be neat when as nurses we can’t get adequate and constant flow of water to look neat and go about our duties.” he stated .

Apart from the water crises, the SRC president also enumerated some problems hampering teaching and learning activities in the Damongo Nurses Training College.

According to Kofi, ‘’the lectures can’t stay on campus each time after lectures they have to go back to Tamale as they do not have bungalows to stay in.’’ He bemoaned.

He also stated that the male do not have hostels to stay in so they stay in towns and they are robbed most of the time. He ceased the opportunity to appeal to the government to come to their aid.
