Ace investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas has indicated he is confident that his aim of naming, shaming and jailing corrupt judges in Ghana will come to a conclusive end.

Speaking on the Ultimate Breakfast Show in Kumasi, he emphasized that he had concrete evidence to prove that every judge who was caught in his recent investigative documentary ‘Ghana in the eyes of God” is indisputable.

He noted that several lawyers who have dared to defend the judges “back down whenever they come to the reality of what was contained in the videos about their clients”.

Lawyers in the country are engaged in a raging debate as to whether the video and audio detailing alleged extortion and bribery by judges and staff of the courts in undercover investigations by him constitute entrapment.

Another issue is the 14 judges suing the Judicial Council (JC) on grounds that the disciplinary action against them was contrary to law and/or due process.

The demand for him to take off his conventional hood during cross-examination has also been a sharp legal contention.

But Anas insists he is not perturbed by the legal battles and will persist in the heavily concentrated barrage of cross-examinations before the committee set up by the Chief Justice until justice prevails.

A Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) presented a replica statue of Anas for his good work for humanity.
