Databank boss launches book

Accra, Dec. 18, GNA - The General Overseer of the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC), Dr Mensa Otabil, on Thursday launched a book on Leadership, Entrepreneurship and Values written by Mr Ken Ofori-Atta, the Executive Chairman of Databank. The book, which was published by Frangipani Books Limited and designed by Combent Impressions, Ghana, is a compilation of speeches by Mr. Ofori-Atta in the past 20 years.

Mr. Ofori-Atta said the book was to encourage people not to be complacent in whatever they do, adding that it was about the can-do spirit, which, if adopted, would go a long way to build societies and the nation. He said the book was especially targeted at the Diaspora and students since it would serve as guideline for them in building their future. Mr Ofori-Atta urged all, especially those with strong character, to build confidence in themselves and encourage people to believe in themselves and their country. "You can be an expert in anything you do, but first give thanks to God," he said.

Dr Otabil said reading the book would provide thoughts of the development of ideas of Mr. Ofori-Atta. He therefore urged all present not to be hearers only but to make sure each and every one bought a copy or two for their families and friends.
