The presidential candidate for the opposition party NDC, John Dramani Mahama, has advised disappointed NPP supporters to join him in securing victory in the upcoming elections.

Addressing supporters at a campaign rally, he indicated that Ghana's development is communal labour and that disappointed NPP supporters should join the NDC to secure victory in this year's election.

He noted, "We are engaging in communal labour. If you are a disappointed NPP supporter, join the NDC to secure victory in this year's election."

He added, "When your party goes into opposition, you reform and strengthen it under new leadership because the NDC's impending policies will be so impactful that Ghanaians will soon forget the NPP's accomplishments."

Mahama advised, "I urge Ghanaian voters to cast their ballots wisely and peacefully in the upcoming election. Let's avoid disputes, as they may lead to costly and time-consuming court battles."

"I confidently predict that the NDC will emerge victorious at all polling stations," he concluded.
