The founder and leader of Prophetic Hill Chapel, Prophet Nigel Gaisie, has made a passionate appeal to the National Democratic Congress (NDC) ahead of the commencement of their new administration.

In his appeal, the man of God warned the NDC not to repeat the mistakes made by the outgoing New Patriotic Party (NPP).

He pointed out that one of the key factors that cost the NPP the election was their neglect of God, despite seeking his guidance while striving for power.

Addressing his congregation during the 31st Watch Night service on December 31, 2024, Nigel Gaisie cautioned the NDC and its elected leader, John Dramani Mahama, against turning away from God after being sworn in.

He urged them not to forget the altar that interceded and played a pivotal role in securing their victory.

“I will be a prophet for a very long time. Let the President-elect and the NDC not forget this altar. Let them not repeat the mistakes of the NPP. The NPP has gone down, and it will take them a lot of years to come back because they neglected the altar that brought them to power,” Nigel Gaisie said.

He added, “If the NDC is in power today, it is because of certain things I did. To the NDC fraternity, may they uphold righteousness, may they not attack the church, may they not attack the prophets. If a prophet makes a mistake, let them bring the person before the Lord. May they not do what Kennedy Agyapong did to us. We prayed against them [NPP] because of what they did to us. They dishonoured us, fought us, and we fought them on our knees.”

He further stated that it would take many years for the NPP to return to power, warning that the NDC may face a similar fate if they use their administration to attack the clergy and prophets.

Nigel Gaisie also recalled how he continued interceding, praying, and prophesying victory for the party when nobody believed in them.

“May it be on record that in the last eight years, I am the first prophet in Ghana and around the world to prophesy that John Mahama would be president. There was no prophet to do so. After the 2016 elections, when the name of John Mahama became like a forbidden fruit, I was the only prophet who saw and stood for him,” he added.
