Do not seek re-election - NDC Executives warned

Some National Executives of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) have been warned not to dream of seeking reelection in the party,

They have equally been threatened of humiliation should they fail to heed to the warning with the explanation that they played various roles in the defeat of the party in the 2016 general elections that has landed the NDC into opposition.

“I have already mentioned one name but I won’t mention the rest but they know themselves very well and I am telling them not to even dream of it”, Afrifa Yamaoh Ponko warned.

He specifically mentioned Kofi Adams, National organizer of the party and Campaign Coordinator of the 2016 election indicating that he should even have been ousted from the party for subjecting it to this kind of humiliation.

“I have already said it and I would repeat it once more, that Kofi Adams must be banished from the NDC, he shouldn’t even dare to re-contest any political position because he would lose massively…,” he said on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen Tuesday.

While commending the party’s Chief Scribe Johnson Asiedu Nektia and his Deputy Koku Anyidoho for working tirelessly just to see the party emerge victorious at the December 7, 2016 polls, he said same cannot be said about the other national executives.

“If General Mosquito is going for the National Chairman then he has one vote in advance. He was the face of the party and worked very hard unlike some of National Executives. ‘The Bull’ was also a formidable force for the party and executed his job professionally.

When asked if the chairman of the party was also up to the task, Yamaoh Ponko almost flared in anger and told the host not to ask him certain questions.
