Don’t contest Nabdam Parliamentary primaries – Boniface Gambila told

Former Member of Parliament (MP) for Nabdam Constituency and former Upper East Regional Minister, Boniface Gambila has been told not to stage a comeback as lawmaker for the area.

Ghana’s biggest political parties are inching closer to their parliamentary primaries with new faces popping up whiles some old faces are also showing up for the competition.

One of such persons who has already expressed interest in returning to win the seat he lost in 2016 to the National Democratic Congress (NDC) is Boniface Gambila.

He lost woefully to the NDC in 2016 but has officially declared his intentions for the contest on ticket of the New Patriotic Party’s Primaries in the Nabdam constituency.

The former lawmaker announced his decision on Making his intentions known on Bolgatanga A1 Radio and affirmed it with a post on his Facebook page.

However, some youth of the New Patriotic Party believes that Gambila should rescind his decision to contest for the Parliamentary Primaries.

According to them, he does not have the persona to represent the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the NABDAM Constituency.
