Deputy Director of Communications for the National Democratic Party (NDP), Ernest Owusu Bempah has warned members of the NDC especially its communication team to be careful on their choice of words used against his party, especially the founder, Mrs. Konadu Agyeman Rawlings.

“If executives of the NDC do not call their members to order especially their communication team, the whole NDC government would collapse when I open my mouth to talk about the pros and cons going on in the party. So they shouldn’t dare some of us . . . We are sending a warning to them,” he said.

The Eastern Regional chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Bismark Tawiah Boateng in an earlier interview accused the former first lady, Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings of making unwarranted attacks against the party and President John Mahama just because she has been bribed by Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to be uttering false statements against the party, lowering its chances of retaining power.

He further challenged Mrs. Rawlings to disclose how she was able to resource the 31st December Women Movement during her husband's presidency, as it has now become standstill, since her husband is no longer in power.

"If she says this government is corrupt I challenge her to tell us how she was able to find money to run her 31st December Women Movement. She shouldn't dare tag this government as corrupt because she did worse things when her husband was the President," Mr. Boateng said.

Ernest Owusu Bempah explained that he can still not understand why members of 'yesterday' NDC would have the gut to talk to the founder of the party’s wife anyhow using abusive words on her, when they would later come praising her husband as the 'soul' of the party.

"Indeed NDC has lost its credibility and does not deserve to lead this country any longer."

“Words that Mrs. Konadu Agyeman Rawlings would use on the NDC would forever remain a curse on the party, because she really toiled for the party as a mother, therefore nobody should ever push her to use words that she has never taught of bringing out of her mouth,” NDP’s Deputy Director of Communications told PEACE FM news in an interview.
