The Reverend Johnson Aseidu, the Bechem District Pastor of the Church of Pentecost has warned the contemporary generation against joining occult groups and secret societies, ostensibly to achieve greatness, riches and power.

He said there were several examples of youth who had joined occultic and secret societies to acquire wealth and power but had regretted because they could not "come out from such bondage".

Delivering a sermon on the theme “knowing your talents”, at a service in Sunyani central church of Pentecost, Rev Asiedu expressed regret that some promising musicians in the country including gospel artists had resorted to occultism.

He said it required total submission from the youth if God would bless them, and asked them to avoid unhealthy and promiscuous lifestyle that could truncate their future.

Apostle Mark Obeng Andoh, the Area Head of the Sunyani Central of the Church of Pentecost, advised Christian youth to repent and refrain from act of immorality to be able to obtain God’s blessing.
