Dotse Malor will prove "cynics" wrong - Haruna Attah

The Editor of the Accra Mail Newspaper Haruna Atta says the cynics should leave Ben Dotse Malor alone to do his job as the President’s Communications Adviser and Spokesperson.

The President’s appointment of the former BBC Presenter sparked a wave of criticism media discussion.

Some people such as Communications Expert Professor Audrey Gadzekpo, Statesman K B Asante and political activist Dr Sekou had reservations with Malor’s appointment.

Haruna Atta however in an interview on Radio XYZ’s Breakfast show Thursday said the critics must leave the President and Mr. Malor alone to do their job.

“Why can’t we as a people be positive…Ben is a professional. The President has the prerogative to appoint people.

“It is in the constitution, he feels he wants a spokesman and he appoints the best, what is wrong with it”.

“Why don’t we as Ghanaians accept certain actions with good faith and allow good will to prevail. I think Ben’s selection by the President was an inspired decision and I think Ben should prove his critics wrong” Haruna Attah said.
