Prof. Dr. Grace Ayensu Danquah, the NDC Parliamentary candidate for the Essikado-Ketan Constituency, has fulfilled another promise. On November 4th, she awarded trunks and exercise books to 36 top-performing JHS students from the constituency in a ceremony held at the Kojokrom Palace.

In a first-of-its-kind initiative for the constituency, three students from each of the 12 electoral areas were selected by school heads in collaboration with Assembly members to be recognized.

Dr. Ayensu Danquah encouraged the students to strive for excellence, underscoring education as the foundation for leadership and national progress.

As a teacher herself, she pledged to support top students annually, committed to elevating Essikado’s educational reputation within the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolitan Area (STMA). She urged the students to avoid negative influences and assured them of her continued dedication to delivering on her promises.

This gesture reflects Dr. Ayensu Danquah's generational thinking, prioritizing development and progress for her constituents even before holding office. She exemplifies the true purpose of voting, which is to bring meaningful support and development to the community.

Dignitaries present included Nana Panyin Yena IV, the chief of Kojokrom; Nana Kwabena Ahenkofi V, chief of Ahenkofi Krom; Nana Doko III, chief of Ngyeresia; and Nana Grace Esandoh, Queenmother of Kojokrom Market. Bernard Oduro Takyi (B.O.T), a chartered economist and member of the NDC National Youth Working Committee, was the special guest of honour. Their presence demonstrated the strong support within the NDC and the community for Dr. Ayensu Danquah's initiatives.
