Dr. Serebuor Quaicoe, formerly responsible for the Electoral Service, has been appointed as the new Training Director at the Electoral Commission's headquarters.

A letter dated April 30, 2024, signed by the EC Chairperson, Jean Mensa, announced the appointment.

Benjamin Banor-Bio, the former head of the Ashanti Regional office, will now assume the Director of Electoral Services position.

Dr. Quaicoe will officially start his new role on July 1, 2024.

The letter addressed to him instructed him to hand over all Commission property in his possession to the Deputy Chairman, Operations.

It also expressed confidence that he would work with Management to ensure excellence in the Training Department and the Commission as a whole.

In addition to Dr. Quaicoe's appointment, the Eastern Regional Director, Faith Amedzeke, has been relocated to the Commission's headquarters in Accra.
