Duncan-Williams is the ‘Paul of our time’ – UG SRC

The Students Representative Council of the University of Ghana has described Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams – affectionately called ‘Papa’ by his followers – as the “Paul of our time."

The leadership of the students bestowed the accolade on the founder of the Christian Action Faith Ministries (CAFM) on Sunday October 12, 2014 at his church’s headquarters in Accra during one of the services.

Below are excerpts of a brief speech read by one of the SRC leaders just before a citation was read by another leader, Robert Armah:

“…Many are still testifying about how God has used you, Papa, and still using you to raise great sons, daughters, grandsons, granddaughters in the body of Christ in Ghana, Africa and all the Nations of our land.

“Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams, indeed you are the Paul of our time. Your zeal and charisma towards the kingdom work over the years, inspired the students’ representative council to honour you as one that has pioneered great charismatic movement in Ghana and some parts of Africa, teaching how to access God’s blessing through the power of prayer and the word of God.

“The Students Representative Council of the University of Ghana, all students and churches, are greatly exhilarated for your acceptance of this honour with a good heart."
