The 2024 National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary Candidate for Ablekuma North, Ewurabena Aubynn, has expressed concern over the prolonged silence regarding the outcome of the parliamentary election in the constituency.
Speaking in an interview on GH ONE TV, monitored by GhanaWeb on Thursday, March 27, 2025, she reaffirmed her confidence in the judicial system, stating that the will of the constituents would prevail.
"It's rather unfortunate that the EC hasn't said anything so far very disappointing considering that they are an institution or a body that's supposed to give leadership or give direction, but the issue is in court too. So, I think we should allow the court processes to take its course and then we'll see the outcome.
"I think it's life and all of these things come with it you can't really predict tomorrow but I know it will end well; these are some of the challenges I mean politically or not you do get challenges or setbacks along the way so it's fine", she stated.
Currently, the constituency remains without a representative in Parliament as both Ewurabena Aubynn and the 2024 New Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary Candidate, Nana Akua Owusu Afriyie, await the court’s ruling on the election outcome.
