Bishop Salifu Amoako, Founder and General Overseer of Alive Chapel International, and his wife, Mouha Amoako, have been seen at an Accra court amid the ongoing case regarding a fatal crash in East Legon.
In a video shared on GhOne’s X handle on October 30, 2024, the couple, accompanied by their lawyers and aides, was spotted heading towards a Range Rover as they exited the court premises. The details of the court proceedings are yet to be confirmed.
This appearance comes 15 days after the High Court in Accra granted bail of GH¢50,000 each to Bishop Salifu Amoako, Mouha Amoako, and Linda Bempah in connection with the incident.
Salifu and Mouha Amoako, parents of the 16-year-old suspect driver Elrad Amoako, were charged with permitting an unlicensed person to drive. They admitted to allowing their child to drive to the gym and other locations.
Linda Bempah, a sales assistant, was also implicated for providing the car keys to Elrad. The court granted bail after considering the accused's fixed places of residence, employment status, and societal standing, despite the prosecution's request for stricter conditions.
Meanwhile, the University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC) has declared Elrad Salifu Amoako unfit for police interrogation, despite his recent discharge from the hospital.
