Easter not a myth - Pastor Kotei

Accra, April 24, GNA - Pastor Solomon S. A. Kotei, General Overseer of the Radiant Gospel Mission, said Easter is not a myth but a factual resurrection of Jesus Christ from death, the basis upon which the Church was established.

He said the stone, which was rolled away from the tomb in the glare of security that were dumb-founded, inactive and hopeless, was not only a mystery but a real miracle.

Preaching the sermon on: 93Stone Rolled Away" during the Easter church service in Accra on Sunday, Pastor Kotey said the miracle that happened on Easter Sunday was available to every one who believed in the resurrection of Jesus Christ and his Lordship. He said God has plans for the nation and during this 2011 Easter celebrations, 93God will roll away the stones of confusion, depression, political divisions and tribalism.

"Even those who are speculating that there will be chaos in the nation would be proved wrong by the power of the resurrection". Pastor Kotei said: 93There is nothing impossible to God and He would bring solutions to the challenges of mankind if we allow Him to watch over the nation and give us direction". He urged Christians to celebrate the Easter with every confidence that when they called upon God things that were mysterious shall be made clear.

Pastor Kotei encouraged Christians to trust God for direction, protection and prosperity.

"Long before this nation and its people came into being, God had made pronouncements over our lives and nobody can conceal your victory in life. Only believe that what God has said about you will come to pass," Pastor Kotei said.
