Renowned International Evangelist, Dr Lawrence Tetteh has expressed shock over the sudden death of talented musician Ebony Reigns.
According to the President of the Worldwide Miracle Outreach, Ebony’s demise should be a good lesson to all that God can call anyone at anytime hence the need to live a godly life at all times.
The ‘Maame hwe’ crooner died in a fatal car accident Friday dawn on the Sunyani-Kumasi road while returning to Accra from Brekum where she’d gone to visit her mother who had come from abroad.
Dr. Tetteh who had recently become the spiritual father of the ‘Poison’ singer told Morning Starr Friday that he had recently advised the 20-year-old artiste to turn to God.
“Very sad, very shocking, this is a good lesson for all of us that God can call anybody at anytime and we should guard our lives with fear and tremble. Politicians, musicians, popular people every man every woman should guard their lives with fear and tremble because you don’t know when God will call you.
“….I advised her, I told her to turn to God, get to God through music and have a godly life and check her dressing. I admonished her, she was so thankful and she referred to me as Daddy. She received a prayer and it made sense to her speaking the gospel to her. Hearing her death this morning is a shock, you don’t want to wish this on your worst enemy.”
Ebony Reigns recently shared a heart-warming picture with Dr Lawrence Tetteh on social media.
She posted the photo on her Instagram page and captioned the picture, “I enjoyed our meeting today Daddy.”
Ebony who has released several hit songs in her short stay in the music industry was tipped by many Ghanaians to win the coveted 2017 artiste of the year when the Ghana Music Awards is held in March this year.
