Education is about the global crisis-GNAT gen. secretary

The General secretary of Graduate National Association of Teachers GNAT, Irean Duncan Adanusa has call on Government to invest efficiently into the education sector to reduce less crisis system inasmuch as quality of education can be achieved.
She said Education is about the global crisis which trickles down to Africa and economic crisis over the past years have affected all nation. Since some country’s lack school facility and other resources.
She said this at the media launch of their 4th Quadrennial (51st) national delegate conference in Accra; whereby she indicated that more Skills must be develop to match the challenges confronting education before taken off global economy impact in consideration.
Adding that their target for 2015 cannot be reached but finding accurate solution to meet it comes years.
Speaking on behalf of the Acting National president, Kwame Ofori Atta National treasure said the conference is dubbed, Education in Crisis; Development Agenda for 2015 and Beyond. it will be held at the Mensvic Hotel ,East Legon in Accra.
He said about 800 delegates and observers as well as representatives of some of our international sister organizations (mostly education international facilities).are expected to be there.
Kwame Ofori said the national delegate conference is the highest decision making body of the GNAT. It is the organs that formulate policies for governance of the association. Conference is held every four years and it at this forum that major policy decision affect6ing education, the teaching profession and other socio economic issues are discussed and necessary.
He gave highlight of the conference which include Opening Ceremony, Keynote Address, Round Table Discussions and Election and investiture of national officer.
