Educational Technology exhibition ends in Accra

Accra, July 16, GNA - A day's exhibition of modern educational technological material ended in Accra over the weekend. On display were Electronic Schools Administrator Software, which simplifies the entire management and administration of schools. Other exhibits were multimedia children's computers and laptops, which develop early computer skills in children right from the pre-school level.

The event, which was organized by Electronic Learning Solutions, a leading Educational Solutions provider in West Africa in partnership with Electronic Learning for Kids of the United States of America, a global non-profit organization.

The exhibition was attended by over 100 Heads of Educational Institutions and Information Technology Instructors mainly from the Accra and Tema Metropolis.

The Ghana News Agency observed at the exhibition centre varied educational technological materials, including cutting-edge technological products and services for educational institutions. The state-of-the-art electronic learning centre set-up with multimedia Pentium 4 computers, fully networked. Mr George Sackey of E-Toys and More told the GNA that a great innovation at the exhibition was the use of wireless networking rather than the normal cables.

Also on display was a wide variety of powerful multimedia educational software covering a wide range of subject areas, including English, Mathematics, Geography, Science, Computer Skills, and History. He said the exhibition also showcased and instruct the educational institutions, the use of schools-SMS technology, which could be used to improve upon communication.

Mr. Sackey commended HFC BANK for displaying their educational products for schools, which include the financing of e-learning centres. He said E-Toys and More specializes in the distribution of exclusive line of award-winning children's interactive educational products.

Mr Sackey said these products encourage learning, develop confidence and tremendously enhance the child's developmental potential. He said the products are built on the skills that are necessary for children to excel in school adding, "We offer unparalleled value when it comes to expanding your child's mind and enhancing their ability to achieve and surpass developmental milestones. "Products prepare today's child for tomorrow's technology. Our goal is to bring technological solutions to children's educational needs.
