Effutu Municipal Government Hospital records 15 new babies during Yuletide

Fifteen new babies; 13 males and two females, were born on Christmas and Boxing Day at the Effutu Municipal Government Hospital.

Speaking to the Ghana News Agency, Mrs Evelyn Mensah, the Midwife at the Maternity Ward of the Hospital, said nine babies, comprising seven males and two females, were delivered on Christmas Day with two of them through Caesarean section.

Six males were also born on Boxing Day and one through Caesarean section.

She added that 12 mothers and their babies were in good health and had been discharged while the three who went through Caesarean section were still on admission.
