SuperSport United’s Ghanaian midfielder Edward Gyimah has stated that Egypt need a miracle if they are to feature in next year's World Cup.
The seven-time African champions were humiliated 6-1 in Kumasi last month and Gyimah feels a comeback is impossible.
“With due respect, it will be impossible for Egypt to reverse the score,” he told Kickoff. “We did the job at home in the first-leg and now our mission is to go and complete the task in Cairo.”
“It’s going to be a tough game, but I believe Egypt will need a miracle to qualify for Brazil next year.”
Gyimah was part among the substitutes in the first leg in Kumasi.
