Eid-Ul-Adha: Tarkwa-Nsuaem NPP sends well-wishes to Muslims

The Communications Directorate of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Tarkwa-Nsuaem Constituency of the Western Region, on behalf of the rank and file of the party has sent well-wishes to all Muslims across the country a happy Eid-Ul-Adha.

In a goodwill message, the party stated "We hope that, may this season bring unto all our lovely Muslims much blessings from the almighty Allah in all their endeavors and also humbly appeal for moderation and circumspection as they celebrate.

The statement added the day is very important hence, wishing " all our lovely Muslim families across the world a happy Eid-Ul-Adha".

Tuesday, 21 August marks Eid al-Adha, an Islamic holiday also known as the “Festival of Sacrifice.”

The holiday is the first of four days where Muslims sacrifice meaningful things to Allah, typically sheep, cows, chickens and goats, which they slaughter, cook and share with family, friends and the poor.

Eid al-Adha also marks the end of Dhu al-Hijjah, the 10-day pilgrimage Muslims take to Mecca. Hajj is a pilgrimage all Muslims must take at least once in their lives.

Tarkwa-Nsuaem NPP Wishes All Muslims A Happy Eid-Ul-Adha

The Communications Directorate of the Tarkwa-Nsuaem NPP write on behalf of the rank and file of the New Patriotic Party of the Tarkwa-Nsuaem Constituency to wish all our lovely Muslims a happy Eid-Ul-Adha.

By this notice, The MP, Hon. George Mireku Duker, The MCE, Hon. Gilbert Kennedy Asmah and the entire NPP Constituency Executives wishes all Muslims within the Constituency, Ghana and across the world a joyous Eid-Ul-Adha, which signifies the culmination of the annual pilgrimage to Mecca and commemorating the sacrifice of Ibrahim (Abraham) and hence, an important occasion on the Islamic Calendar.

We hope that, may this season bring unto all our lovely Muslims much blessings from the almighty Allah in all their endeavors and also humbly appeal for moderation and circumspection as they celebrate.
