Elders of Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission end Rally.

Kumasi, Sept. 14, GNA-Maulvi Wahab Adam, Ameer (Head) and Missionary in-charge of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission, Ghana, has called on the Elders of the Mission to avoid evil deeds and adopt ways that will please God and thereby receive his blessings.

He said, as people very close to the "angel of death", it behoved on them to constantly examine their lives in their hearts and deeds and address their weaknesses and faults since that was the way to self-purification.

Maulvi Adam was speaking at the closing session of the 21st National Rally of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Elders' Organisation in Kumasi on Saturday.

The theme for the two-day Rally was "Preparing the Future Generation for National Development - The Role of the Muslim Elders". The Ameer urged them to pray sincerely to God to enable them to develop spiritual and moral values so that they can refrain from doing evil and other social vices in the society.

He expressed happiness that the various organisations in the Mission have held their rallies and have ended them successfully and prayed that God rewards them all, adding that each organisation has a duty to perform and must do it to expectation.

Prayers were said for the Elders and members of the Mission and the nation.
