A former Energy Minister and former presidential aspirant of the New Patriotic Party, Boakye Agyarko, joined a TESCON event hosted by Mount Mary College of Education and the University of Environment and Sustainable Development as a guest speaker in the Yilo Krobo constituency.

The colourful and well-attended event took place on Sunday, September 8, 2024, at the auditorium of Mt. Mary College of Education.

The event, which was dubbed "The Role of TESCON in Breaking the Eight," had a host of dignitaries including Dr. Richard Twum Barima - Parliamentary Candidate, Hon. Eric Tetteh - DCE for Yilo Krobo district, Law. Charles Juannah, Dr. Steve Opata, the regional TESCON coordinator, Constituency Executives, and others.

The former Campaign Manager and a true believer in the UP tradition used the opportunity to reignite the spirit of TESCON and, by extension, the youth to take up their positions as we head closer to the general election.

He cited that the youth make up about 60% of the total registered voters in the upcoming general elections and therefore the youth will decide the election.

The event concluded successfully as Tescon members and attendees left with a renewed spirit and commitment ahead of the December 7 polls.

All indications point to the fact that the Parliamentary Candidate of the Yilo Krobo constituency, Richard Twum Barima, will win the upcoming parliamentary elections with a wider margin.

Ongoing conversations in the constituency provide good testimony about the developmental projects such as borehole projects, renovations of structures, etc., being carried out by Hon. Richard Twum Barima.
