Election 2024: Observation so far in Assin Central Constituency

About 19 polling stations to monitor the process. As early as 5:30 am, people were in queues waiting for their turn to vote.

In all the polling stations GhanaWeb visited, it's either a police officer, fire service, or an immigration officer was in charge of the security.

Party agents, observers, and the media were freely going about their duties at the time of my visit in 19 polling stations I have visited so far.

Voting actually started exactly 7am, but other polling stations started voting a few minutes after 7 am as scheduled by the Electoral Commission.

Speaking to the media, the NPP parliamentary candidate for the Assin Central constituency, Godfred Nti Anewu, expressed satisfaction in the voting process after casting his ballot.
