The Member of Parliament (MP) for Ellembelle constituency in the Western Region, Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah has called on eligible voters to vote against the Akufo Addo-Bawumia government.
The NDC's lawmaker made the call at Aiyinasi Post Office B after casting his ballot.
Armah Buah chastised the Akufo Addo-Bawumia government for failing to develop this country.
He said today's election begins the freedom of economic liberation.
He stated that Ghanaians are waiting for former president John Mahama to stabilize the economy.
He was optimistic that John Mahama would win the 2024 presidential election.
He took the opportunity to thank the good people of Ellembelle constituency for having confidence in him.
He stated that he would be retained as Ellembelle MP for the fifth time.
"Let me thank the good people of Ellembelle constituency for giving me the opportunity to serve them. I'm very confident that I will be retained to complete my unfinished business", he said.
So far voting in Ellembelle constituency is ongoing smoothly and peacefully.
