On March 8, 2024, International Women’s Day was commemorated worldwide, with the IBA President and a team of women leading the charge in organizing an impactful event.

In Ghana, the 2nd Celebration of IBA Women’s Day took place at the premises of Emma-Jean Markin, Managing Partner of Markin & Associates.

The event, themed "The Ten Directives to Break The Glass Ceiling In Our Profession," commenced at 1:00pm, drawing women from diverse professional backgrounds.

The program, held both in-person and virtually via Zoom, featured discussions led by Emma-Jean Markin, Sandra Christopher Amissah, Mrs. Deborah Mawuse Agyemfra, and Maame Brago Yeboah.

Key topics included personal and professional development, workplace inclusivity, and achieving work-life balance.

Attendees engaged in dialogue, sharing personal experiences and strategies for advancement. The event was hailed a success, with attendees expressing appreciation for the insightful discussions and networking opportunities provided.

The implementation of one of the directives, "Growing Professional Relationships and Network," was particularly praised, underscoring the event's impact in fostering connections and empowering women in their respective fields.
